Welcome to my blog — I’m so glad you’re here.
I want to start by saying something that might surprise you: living with Rheumatoid Arthritis doesn’t mean giving up on yourself as an athlete. It doesn’t mean your best days are behind you. It simply means the journey looks different — sometimes harder, sometimes slower — but always worth it.
Running has been my anchor for years. I’m not a professional athlete, but running is everything to me. At almost 49, with RA tagging along every step of the way, I’m still chasing personal bests, still lacing up, still striving to be faster and stronger. Some days it hurts, some days it feels impossible — but every step I take reminds me of my resilience.
That’s why I created this space. I know how easy it is to lose confidence when your body feels like it’s betraying you. I know how tempting it can be to let go of goals, to feel like you’re no longer the athlete you once were. But I also know this: you are still you. You can rewrite what strength, motivation, and success mean — and I want to help you do it.
Here, I’ll share stories, mindset strategies, and practical tools to help athletes with RA find confidence again. Whether you run, swim, cycle, or move in your own way, this is a space for encouragement and belief — a place to remind you that you are capable of more than you think.
This is just the beginning. Thank you for joining me. I’d love to hear from you — what challenges are you facing right now as an athlete with RA? Leave a comment below or reach out. Let’s build this journey together.
